Meals on Wheels Mission
Meals on Wheels is a nonprofit service agency which provides nutritious meals and other services to help older and disabled individuals maintain a dignified life. We believe it is critical to offer friendship, comfort and hope to those we serve.
Meals on Wheels of Middle Georgia, Inc., has proudly served the senior population in Bibb County since 1974. We work closely with the Area Agency on Aging to deliver services to the homebound elderly and disabled in Bibb, Crawford, Jones, and Monroe counties. Our volunteers and staff are delivering more than good food; we are providing friendship, comfort, and hope. We believe that our elders and disabled neighbors retain a sense of independence and dignity when they are able to live in their own homes.
